Evocative Meditation event. Sunday, Nov 7th at 5 p.m.
This is definitely not your usual quiet mind meditation!
Evocative group meditation uses taped chants as background for you to go to a deeper meditative state and approach the Universal Source. Chants include Native American, Kirtan, a part of the path of Devotional Yoga, Hebrew Kirtan, Gregorian chant, and others. It is important to pay attention to images and other sensations that may arise during the meditation experience as it can be the Source communicating with you through images. At the end of the meditation period, there will be a brief period of time to share your experiences if you choose to. You are welcome to bring percussion instruments (hand drums, etc), to drum along with the chants. To register for this free event go to our Meetup page.
